The scent of wild flowers, green fields... and urban renewal.

When new districts in New York? Practically never. After all, this the city is already very crowded almost every type of community imaginable.

Therefore, when in the city is a new area there is no doubt that you should expect something completely new. Just like the last and dinamicissimo district of New York, the High Line has inspired the creation of the eau de parfum the Spring 2010 of Bond No. 9. An unlikely pedestrian walkway in the open air, lined from the longitudinal structures in concrete and railroad tracks, enhanced meadows, wetlands, and wildflowers, the High Line is elevated 10 metres above the level of the road creeping along the path that goes from the Meatpacking District the former docks railway 34th Street, making his way sometimes between the present buildings along the way.

Recently, also, started to be crossed by a parade everyday of new yorkers and tourists wanting to take a break and a breath of fresh air fresh from the city's kaleidoscopic that never stops.

We at Bond No. 9 the researchers of the fragrances that represent the true spirit of the New York city neighborhoods, we are long time lovers of the High Line and its potential in terms of scents. A fragrance that can convey a whiff of the wild flowers raised in the city and a note of the spirit all the industrial with a bit of energy of Tenth Avenue and rubato style to the art galleries of Chelsea as an additional note to this mixture... we are disturbing a lot. So we tried to create Bond No. 9 High Line.

The result is a bouquet with floral notes and marine decidedly androgynous in contrast with flowers that can withstand any environmental condition, and the meadows that grow along the route of the High Line, bringing with them notes the intriguing origins. The initial note of the perfume invokes a plant grass from grass, eragrostis spectabilis, is associated with a citrus notes of bergamot and indian rhubarb spicy. The floral heart of the scent is composed of pink rubrifolia, tulips "Lady Jane" and hyacinth cluster. Its base notes are persistent combine the oak macrocarpa, from the native trees that offer shelter and grow vigorous, musk, sea import to evoke the proximity of the Hudson river together with notes of musk and teakwood, to remind us that Bond No. 9 High Line it is a perfume metropolitan.

The design of the surface pattern silk-screened on the bottle transparent perfume The High Line promotes the emergence of beauty in this story, from the realistic urban setting industrial: in the foreground, hardy blades of grass high and vigorous buds of tulips fuchsia sprung from the dark grey of the rail tracks (affixed to on the bottle, in the form of a metal plate) put in plain sight the name, High Line. With regard to the distinctive logo Bond No. 9, it appears engraved in relief as a background.

Bond No. 9 has joined forces and became the sponsor of the "Friends of the High Line", the non-profit organization that has guided and overseen the revitalization and reuse this disused railway line in collaboration with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation".
